Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Sally Potter announces the release of her new album Anatomy on May 02 via Bella Union.

Sally Potter explores themes of human connectivity, morality and mortality in a career that spans four decades, encompassing works as varied as the speculative historical epic Orlando and the acerbically witty comedy-drama The Party. In addition to her film work, Sally Potter is a musician and singer-songwriter, a parallel vocation that began with impromptu performances and concerts in the 1970s and 1980s and continued with the composition of music for the soundtracks of many of her films. Her second album, Anatomy, is a whole new adventure for this multidisciplinary artist: a collection of eclectic, boldly visionary songs that seek to address our species’ symbiotic relationship with the Earth, while reflecting on the emotional threads that connect us all as human beings sharing this planet.
